For the last couple weeks, I’ve been running both night and day trips. Night trips have been satisfactory, one night we crush them, and the next night we still do well, but not as good. The night fishing is not on a fall pattern quite yet, but it won’t be long. Once we get a couple of cooler nights, the inshore night bite will fire off.
We fought a 7-ft bull shark for a pulse-pounding 20 minutes and got him boat side before we broke him off to go back to snapper fishing. This next week I’ll be out a few times on the flats and maybe running the beaches for a few other species. Stay tuned to see what’s going on.
Each angler usually catches between 6-15 fish a trip, and they definitely get their workout. Average fight time is 4-7 minutes and as long as 10 minutes if it’s really a big boy over 40 inches.
As one of the veteran Pensacola, Perdido Key and Navarre Fishing Guides, I promise you’ll have a professional fishing trip like no other.
As a former Marine I learned years back to keep my equipment in tiptop shape. To this day, I still have this mind set. I have the mind set if I’m going to do it I’m going to do it right. My boat always looks clean and new, my tackle always looks clean and new! I want to help you have the best fishing experience possible, and that’s why I keep everything in good working order. Not that I mind getting the boat dirty. Give me a call, and we can get you out on the water for a fishing experience like no other.
