Fun In The Sun
Spring is here!!!! The water temps are rising and the bite is following suit. If you enjoy Red Fish, Speckled Trout and Flounder well now is the time. As of now the fish are transitioning from their wintertime holes to the spring and summer flats. What makes this time of year so special is that that when you find one you have found them
all and catching limits of fish is not uncommon.
April is the start of the Speckled Trout spawn!!! what does this mean for you…? High opportunity to catch the a Gator Trout ( a trophy speckled trout ) some of the best ways to target these large females is by throwing topwater plugs across gin clear glass flats or high and tight between dock. During the spawn the keeper fish ( males ) will be in very High abundance where 100 fish days are also not uncommon.
we are already seeing very large schools of Red Fish roaming the flats and with the Red Fish are the flounder that are trickling in from the Gulf of Mexico. Spring is by far my favorite time to target the inshore slam!!! the Floridian trifecta of 3 species consisting of Red Fish, Speckled Trout and Flounder.
Thats not all thats going on though…. if you want to just load the cooler with fish or have some easy family fun where catching is easy for everyone the Sheepshead bite is in full force!!!
Welcome to my website
Hi, I"m Capt. Joshua Lim I've been fishing since I could walk, growing up in a family who loved to fish you can say I was born to do this or better yet destined to. I honestly believe that everyone is born with some type of God given talent or passion and for me it was always easy to see that I loved fishing from day one.
