Why we like half-days for first-timers
Half-day trips aren't just a shorter version of the same thing. For families or anyone new to charter fishing, four hours is often the sweet spot—enough time to catch fish and get the experience without wearing anyone out. We'll hit a few spots, show you the basics, and get you back to the dock with time left in the day.
Redfish on the flats
Spring and early summer are prime for redfish on the grass flats. We're sight-fishing when the water's clear and blind-casting structure when it's not. Live shrimp under a popping cork or on the bottom, or artificials—whatever they're eating that day. When the tide's right and the sun's not too high, the fishing can be as good as it gets.
What to bring on your charter
We provide the boat, tackle, and bait. You bring clothes for the weather (layers—mornings can be cool), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and any food or drinks you want. We have ice and cooler space. If you have a favorite rod you want to use, we can usually work it in. Leave the rest to us.
